Each year we look forward to winter in Southern California. While it might not be what others experience, particularly in the mountains of northern California or the northeast, we wouldn’t have it any other way! And, there are plenty of ways to take in the holiday season filling us with good spirits. Some of the most wonderful holiday lights in Southern California can be found at our favorite boat parade!
Each year more than 100,000 people head to the edge of San Diego Bay to take in the most spectacular seasonal display in the area.
The procession begins at Shelter Island and makes its way down the water, passing Harbor Island, The Embarcadero and Seaport Village before turning at the Pier at Cesar Chavez Park and passing Ferry Landing on Coronado.
