She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). Connecticut in winter can be quite chilly, but even so, it’s not as legendarily frigid as some Midwestern states or the areas farther north than us. You may be surprised to learn that we do have one particularly cold town in Connecticut that is nicknamed “the icebox of Connecticut.” Norfolk is considerably colder than most of the state, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth a visit, even in winter. It’s a small town with around 2,000 people, but there’s a wonderful historic district here and plenty to check out here.
