8 Restaurants In Alabama Where Your Meal Is Free If You Can Eat It All

Who doesn’t love a good challenge? I’m always up for a good challenge, especially when food is involved. Fortunately, we have access to many incredible restaurants here in Alabama. Some are fine dining establishments, while others are more casual. Some even offer free food. That’s right. Free food! Many restaurants located throughout Alabama have food challenges. If you successfully complete the food challenge, your meal is free. Let’s take a look at eight of these restaurants below.
1. Pazzo! Big Slice Pizza & Calzone Bakery - Hoover
For $30 (pizza cost), you can take on the Pazzo Big Slice 24″ Solo Pizza Challenge. This food challenge consists of a 24" pizza with half of it containing two toppings, and the other half containing four toppings. If you finish within 24 minutes, you'll win $200 cash. The pizza isn't free and you'll have to pay for it beforehand. However, because you'll win $200 cash, your pizza is technically free. If you finish the challenge within 30 minutes, the pizza is free.

2. Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries - Pell City
For the Hwy 55 Burger Challenge, you must finish a burger that contains 55 ounces of meat and a minimum of four toppings. In addition to the burger, you must finish a side of fries and a 24 ounce soft drink. If you're able to successfully complete this challenge within 30 minutes, your burger is free (instead of the regular $25).
3. Acme Oyster House - Gulf Shores
For Acme Oyster House's 15 Dozen Oyster Club Challenge, you must finish 15 dozen oysters within one hour. Each dozen costs $14.99 and are served to you individually on a tray. If you're able to finish all 15 dozen oysters within the time limit, you'll get them all at half off. If you break the restaurant's record, all of the oysters are free.
4. Mugshots Grill & Bar - Mobile
The Mugshots Burger Challenge only has a 12 minute time limit. The $22 burger in the challenge consists of three half-pound beef patties, layers of bread, cheese and toppings. If you complete this challenge in under 12 minutes, you'll walk away with a free meal and free t-shirt.

5. Rogue Tavern - Birmingham
For Rogue Tavern’s Big E Burger Challenge, you must finish the burger and sides within one hour. The cost of this burger is $30 and it consists of two large beef patties, each weighing two pounds. It's loaded with cheese and toppings. In addition to the burger, this food challenge also includes one pound of potato chips and one pound of fries. If you finish the challenge within the time limit, your meal will be free and your picture will be added to the Wall of Fame.
6. Saucy Q Bar B Q - Mobile
The Big Pig Challenge features a $25 pulled pork sandwich consisting of 2.5 pounds of pulled pork, in addition to one pound of slaw and one pound of sauce. If you're able to finish this sandwich within 45 minutes, it's free. You'll also get a free t-shirt and your picture will be added to the Wall of Fame.
7. Rattlesnake Saloon - Tuscumbia
The Gigantor at the Rattlesnake Saloon is a delicious two-pound burger. It comes with a pound of fries and a half-pound of onion rings. To wash everything down, you'll also be served a pitcher of your favorite beverage. If you're able to eat all of this in under 45 minutes, it's free. Your picture will also be added to the Wall of Fame. The Gigantor is enough to feed four people, so good luck!

8. Blackwell's Pub & Eatery - Birmingham
For the Blackwell Behemoth Burger Challenge, you have one hour to finish a five-pound burger, plus a one-pound side of fries and onion rings. This burger costs $35. However, if you successfully complete the challenge, it's free. You'll also receive a free t-shirt and a spot on the Wall of Fame.
