I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Some sweets really hit the spot. Whether it’s a donut, ice cream, or a slice of Boston cream pie, there are plenty of ways to satisfy your sweet tooth around the Bay State. But if you’re looking for a place that sells homemade fudge in Massachusetts, a trip to the old-fashioned and charming Williamsburg General Store may be just what you need.
Williamsburg General Store is owned by the Majercik family who first opened it in 1977. It occupies the same building that housed the original store that opened back in 1876.
Just like when it first opened so long ago, you can find all sorts of provisions as well as gifts here. Between food products, greeting cards, candles, toys, books, home decor, t-shirts, and more, it can certainly serve as a one-stop shop in town.
One of the best parts about Williamsburg General Store is the cafe that serves coffee and all sorts of goodies including homemade fudge! And you must get some while you're here.
When you visit Williamsburg General Store, grab a coffee and a treat, whether a scone, a piece of fudge, or something else, and hang out for a while. This historic store is such a wonderful part of the community.
