Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). Here in Kansas, we love our food. Whether you’re in one of our larger cities or a small town out on the prairie that you’d miss if you blinked, you’re sure to find some delicious cuisine. Next time you’re on a Sunflower State road trip and happen to pass through the minuscule town of Kensington (population: 399), make sure to stop by the Rusty Tractor. This friendly, down-home joint is one of our favorite roadside restaurants in Kansas. It’s got a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere and a delicious menu filled with all kinds of goodies, all made fresh daily and almost as good as Grandma used to make.
This is such a delicious small town restaurant in Kansas – make sure to stop by next time you’re in the area. For more information about the Rusty Tractor, visit the Rusty Tractor website or Facebook page.
