On the edge of Fishlake National Forest and near the small town of Marysvale is the famous Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort. This resort is near all types of incredible outdoor opportunities like access to 2,000 miles of ATV trails, river rafting, ziplining, and more.
Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort is home to Caboose Village, where there are approximately a dozen train cars that have been converted into beautiful places to stay the night. One of these is a 1970s Union Pacific Caboose and it certainly is not going to leave you disappointed.

This caboose ran along the Southern Pacific Railroad for several years until it retired. Unfortunately, it caught fire in the train yard in the 1990s, but since then, much work has been done to bring this train car back to life.
This caboose is the perfect couple’s getaway location or a solo trip destination. There is one bed in the train car and it comfortably sleeps two guests.
This caboose has everything you need for a pleasant stay including your own private bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. With such cozy accommodations, it is hard to believe you are even in a train car!
One favorite area of this renovated caboose is its outdoor space. A private deck overlooks the Sevier River and is the perfect place to enjoy an early morning or even stare at the night sky.
Whether you need a place to rest your head after a day filled with outdoor activities or you simply want a relaxing getaway without any large crowds, this vacation rental may just be the solution.
