The natural beauty of the Volunteer State is second to none. From our roaring waterfalls to our gorgeous mountains. It is easy to appreciate the outdoors when everywhere you look is so awe-inspiring. We love to get outside and breathe the fresh mountain air. We also love finding new ways to get into nature and make good use of the space. We recently found a place that invites visitors to hike a swinging bridge in Sevierville, Tennessee — along with several other really interesting bridges. Doing all of this while surrounded by a beautiful forest? What an adventure!
Foxfire Moutain is a beautiful 150-acre adventure park just north of the Great Smoky Mountains.
The adventure park was opened in 2010 and has since become one of the top attractions in Sevierville. With several hiking trails, climbing walls, and many other adventures, it's a place fitting for a whole day of family fun. Many people come to ride the "Goliath" which is a massive zip line that sits 475 feet above the ground and is the highest in the South. That isn't the only record-breaking attraction you can find at Foxfire, however...
The Bridge of Prosperity is one of the longest bridges of its kind in the entire country.
This bridge is designed to swing as you walk across, making for a thrilling adventure as you traverse over 400 feet to the other side.

The bridge sits 70 feet above the ground, so if you're afraid of heights, don't look down. Walking across this swaying bridge isn't the only fun you can have in this incredible adventure park, though!
Head on over to the Evergreen Grotto to take the Walking Tree Canopy Tour. Bounce along the treetop bridges from platform to platform and enjoy the forest from way up high.
You can even take your kids to the Little Adventurer Obstacle Course.
Children will be delighted to climb and play as they make their way through the swaying bridges and platforms. Then take them on a hike to see a waterfall or the beautiful Appalachian wilderness.
Write down a wish and bring it to the Whispering Winds Covered Bridge to hang it among hundreds of others. Then pass through the covered bridge and on to some more adventure.
