Back for its second year, the Boar’s Head Resort Winter Wander Trail of Lights is a family-friendly light show that all ages will enjoy. Enjoy strolling down a half-mile trail of lights that’s filled with incredible displays, twinkling lights, and attractions celebrating the magic of the holiday season. Be sure to come hungry because there will be plenty of food and drinks available from the Boar’s Head culinary team and other local vendors. Boar’s Head Resort transforms into one of the most magical Christmas light displays in Virginia with the new Winter Wander experience.
Partnering up with the University of Virginia, this is one light show you won’t want to miss. The trail of lights will run from November 18, 2022 - January 7, 2023. If you visited last year, you'll remember what a hit mama and baby boar were. New for this year is a papa boar light display that stands 16 feet high.
The rolling landscape and gorgeous scenery of Boar's Head Resort are beautiful year-round, but seeing it illuminated with thousands of lights is an extra special way to spend the holiday season.
You’ll wander past the 35-foot Welcome Tree, through Dogwood Alley, and past the historic Trout House before stumbling into what might be the most mesmerizing scene of them all, the Sunkissed Meadow.
Sitting around a fire enjoying hot cocoa and s'mores with your loved ones after seeing the lights will fill your heart with holiday cheer and remind you of the reason for the season!
