While this trail is a bit long, at just over eight miles, the views are so worth the effort - especially in the fall. Located in Chugach State Park, about 45 minutes from Anchorage, the hike takes you high above Eklutna Lake, which is surrounded by mountains covered in brilliant golden leaves.
