I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
There’s nothing like fall in Kentucky, when the rolling blue hills of the Bluegrass change into golden yellow and coppery browns, dotted, of course, with the bold oranges of autumn’s favorite mascot: the pumpkin! Pumpkin patches are a must each fall in Kentucky, as are the accompanying pumpkin festivals. One of our favorite seasonal events puts the humble gourd front and center in the most magical and marvelous of ways: the Country Pumpkins Fall Festival in Dry Ridge, Kentucky. This annual festival is as wholesome and delightful as it gets; the epitome of good, old-fashioned fall fun in Kentucky.
