I am a nature lover and self-proclaimed foodie wrapped in one package. In my previous life, I was an Accountant, but numbers were boring and writing is the only thing that fuels my soul. So, I write because it's my freedom...it brings me joy. When I'm not writing dope articles for OnlyInYourState, I am writing and editing articles for my online blog on Medium.com. Or, when I get the chance, I am off on a trip with my family chasing waterfalls, or simply exploring the great outdoors. My mantra is to always find the best part of every day and bask in it.
Are you ready for the most epic family-friendly festival in Arkansas? Well, mark your calendars because after two long years, the Zombie Crawl is returning to Eureka Springs. This zombie themed festival promises spooktacular fun for the entire family. So, bring the dogs and the kids, and come and experience the most magical event in Arkansas this year.
On October 29, the streets of Eureka Springs will experience an apocalypse.
Starting at 6 p.m., zombies will be crawling from the Carnegie Public Library through the downtown area and ending on Main Street.
Thousands of spectators will line the streets for this menacing parade. Be sure to get there early to secure your front row seat to witness this zombie invasion.
Come dressed as you are or transform into a ghoulish misfit for the event.

In previous years, there were makeup artists specializing in turning humans into zombies. So, it’s possible that you might get some help with your transformation.
Of course, you’re encouraged to decorate your vehicle and become part of the spectacle as well.
Along with terrifying zombies, the streets will be filled with ghouls, creepy clowns, as well as magicians, contortionists, marching bands, and spooky dancers. The kids will love seeing all the zombies shuffling and stumbling through the streets. But be mindful and if your child scares easily, then this might not be the best event for them.
During the crawl, you can either be a spectator or you can join in the spooktacular fun. Be sure to go to the website to sign up to participate in the parade.
Along the parade route, there will be selfie zones so that you can capture your night of terror as a zombie.
This magical crawl is the biggest way to kick off Halloween in the state. So, grab your best zombie outfits and shuffle through the streets of Eureka Springs with thousands of walking dead.
The zombie themed festival is free to attend, but organizers ask that you bring 2 canned goods as a donation for charity. So, are you ready to participate in the biggest zombie invasion in our state? Visit the official website or Facebook page for more information.
And for more family fun this fall season, here’s a pumpkin farm that the kids will love.
