Congrats to these up and coming cities in South Carolina. These are the places in the Palmetto State that everyone has been flocking to for the last 5 years or so.
The website HomeSnacks.net published their recent analysis of the fastest growing cities in South Carolina. They arrived at their list from analyzing U.S. Census data from 2010 to 2014 to calculate the rate of growth for all South Carolina cities with populations of more than 5,000. Here are the results:
Congrats to Bluffton for being Numero Uno. To their credit, they are located pretty much in paradise 12 miles to the west of Hilton Head and right on the gorgeous May River. From 2010-2014, Bluffton's growth rate was a whopping 30.6%.

Fort Mill is home to some major companies like Black & Decker, Daimler Trucks North American and Wells Fargo. The city's growth rate from 2010-2014 was 17.47%, bringing them in at #2 on this list.
Tega Cay is located just 20 minutes (on a good day) south of downtown Charlotte. This affluent suburb is also on a peninsula on Lake Wylie. The proximity to Charlotte and the lake are obvious reasons why Tega Cay is so popular. From 2010-2014, the growth rate here was 17.25%. The population in 2014 was 8,224.
The Town of Moncks Corner is located in the Charleston market area which has seen record growth in recent decades. So much growth that the outer "suburbs" are now experiencing record growth as Charleston continues to explode. Moncks Corner offers that old-fashioned southern charm that newcomers to the area are seeking. Between 2010 and 2014 the town had a growth rate of 16.02%, the largest growth experienced by all of Charleston's suburbs.
Lexington is a suburb of the state's capital and enjoys some perks from being located adjacent to the state's largest city. Residents find a great quality of life for a reasonable cost in Lexington. In 2014 the population was 19,007. From 2010-2014 the growth rate here was 15.83%.

The county seat for Horry County, home of popular Myrtle Beach, Conway is the sixth fastest growing market in the state. Quality of life in this small city is enhanced by the culture and the beautiful surroundings. Between 2010 and 2014 Conway's growth rate was 13.52%.
Mount Pleasant is located on the east side of the Cooper River in Charleston County and just across the big bridge from historic Charleston. In the past decade Mount Pleasant has seen monumental growth that can be attributed to the upscale neighborhoods here. From 2010-2014 Mount Pleasant was the 7th fastest growing community in South Carolina with a growth rate of 12.73%.

Located at the very southernmost end of Berkeley County with city limits that go right up to the Berkeley/Charleston County lines, Hanahan rings in on this list as the 8th fastest growing city in the whole state. The growth rate in Hanahan from 2010-2014 was 12.13%.
In 2014, the population in Greer was 27,676. The City of Greer has approximately 16 square miles and boasts three lakes and the Tyger River. With so much water, Greer is a sportsman's paradise. From 2010-2014, Greer's rate of growth was 11.37.%.
Perhaps the big "sleeper" on this list, Goose Creek is absolutely the 10th fastest growing city in South Carolina. It's also one of the youngest on this list and was established in 1961. Folks move to Goose Creek for more affordable, yet still high quality, living in the Charleston area. From 2010-2014 Goose Creek's rate of growth was 10.87%.
