Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). Looking for somewhere fun to take the kids or grandkids? We’ve got several great children’s museums in Connecticut. One of our favorites is KidsPlay Children’s Museum in Torrington. This large museum features 11,000 square feet of space and is geared towards kids ages 1-10. There are plenty of educational exhibits, plus great scheduled shows and events. It’s the perfect place to take the little ones to help them learn, have a great time, and get out of your hair for a little bit.
