But to all the new residents, soon to be locals and seasonal visitors, here is just a glimpse of why so many people choose to make Connecticut their permanent home, sometimes for generations. This place is just super cool! But like every other state, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. You’ll have to decide whether or not the pros outweigh the cons here, but if you’re like me, this state will always be your home!
What makes our state unique is that we don't have to go far to be immersed in forestry. The focus on small townships and reserves means everyone has the opportunity to experience the foliage of autumn and waterfalls of spring.
21 million jobs and 13% of the U.S. economy is easily accessible from this state, making it one of the best places for business in the whole world!

You don't have to live in the city full-time to experience the night lights. You can get from Connecticut to New York in a flash, not to mention our air travel and Long Island Sound ports.
