Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). When it comes to restaurants, bigger isn’t always better. A large size may mean plenty of room to serve the countless customers who dine on phenomenal dishes, but just as many small restaurants in Kansas still manage to draw in the crowds. One of our favorites is Harry’s Cafe in Pittsburg. This place is simple, with a small, no-frills location that belies the quality food and service it’s known for. It’s one of our favorite diners in the Sunflower State, and it’s no wonder that people drive miles to eat here! The cinnamon rolls alone are worth the trip.
