Holmes Lake Park is a gem right in the heart of Lincoln, Nebraska. First established in 1962, the area was named after lifetime resident, George Holmes.
This massive green space covers 110 acres! You can find a lake sand volleyball court, ballfields, and many other fun amenities too!

Holmes Lake Park was first built out of necessity. Due to flooding in the area, a dam was built to help alleviate natural disasters. As a result, a reservoir was created.
