I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
While we’re always sad to see summer go, our attention quickly turns to autumn and everything it represents. Festivals and hayrides, pumpkins and corn mazes, and fall foliage for days. The Bluegrass is blessed with some of the best fall foliage in the country; our crisp nights and warm days conspiring to create the most awe-inspiring spectacle of autumnal colors! And in Harrison County, Cynthiana is an impossibly charming treasure of town that’s proudly home to some of the best fall foliage in Kentucky.
Every year, as the lazy, hazy days of August fade into September, something marvelous happens in the Bluegrass State.
This charming town of around 6,200 is peak "small town" vibes, with a delightful Main Street district, proud local businesses, and scenic beauty. But what this Northern Kentucky town truly prides itself for is its fall foliage.
Of course, Mother Nature certainly plays a part in the town's fall foliage festivities. This region of Northern Kentucky is naturally beautiful (Quiet Trails State Nature Preserve is a beloved hiking destination), providing the perfect setting for a seasonal celebration of all things autumn.
With this glorious season right around the corner, make plans to visit Cynthiana, and prepare to be dazzled by the delightful spectacle of fall foliage in this charming Kentucky town!
