Elvis Presley swept the world with his talent, music, and brand. He carved out a name for himself in history that will always be remembered. He was a legend who earned the title of King of Rock & Roll. Stepping out and doing what no one else was doing, he quickly rose to the top in popularity. Now that he’s gone and we have the memories to hold onto, there is one place we can visit to walk in his shoes. Elvis Presley’s house in Tennessee is called Graceland, and it is a mansion fit for a king.
The house Elvis lived in is a beautiful mansion that seems nice but pretty normal on the outside.
The covered entryway is complete with large, towering pillars. Everything seems pretty ordinary for the King of Rock and Roll. If you know anything about Elvis, you know that he liked to be flashy and make a statement in everything he did. So what might seem ordinary on the outside gives way to wild and crazy rooms on the inside.
The jungle room is a perfect example of just how wild this house can get.
The green carpet decorates the floors as well as the ceiling. Statues of jungle life adorn the room, as well as hanging plants that give the illusion you are no longer indoors. It might seem wild, but it is just the beginning.

The pool room seems like a sensory overload with its loud and bright colors everywhere.
There are colorful patterns just about everywhere you look. The rooms really speak of the performance the King had in the day. They were loud, edgy, brilliantly orchestrated, and meant to be attention-grabbing.

Elvis' TV room has some of the coolest decorations and is certainly eye-popping.
The black and yellow walls, as well as the accents, really pull the room together in a clever and fun way. There are three TVs mounted to the wall where Elvis would go to watch Sunday football on the three major networks all at once.
Make sure to visit other great places on the property as well. You can tour his two airplanes, one of which he called his Graceland in the sky.
There are also quite a few exhibits on the property dedicated to his stage outfits, awards, and cars, just to name a few. You will have no shortage of Elvis fun when you visit Graceland.
In fact, there is so much to do you might need to book a night stay at The Guest House at Graceland. A stay here is also filled with all sorts of Elvis fun. The hotel even takes on a similar appearance as Elvis' house which makes it even more fun.

We owe a lot of our music today to the King’s creative genius. He is a legend for a reason, and the history of this sprawling property tells us all why.
