One of our favorite year-round activities is a visit to indoor water parks in North Carolina. Not only are these indoor oases a great way to beat the heat in the summer, but they also serve as great opportunities to play in the water even when it’s freezing or rainy outside: there aren’t many places you can do that! One of our favorite’s is Ray’s Splash Planet, one of the largest indoor water parks in the Carolinas. This spot in Charlotte features 29,000 square feet of fun. It’s got all kinds of attractions that make for a superb day of fun in the water, no matter what season it is.
