I am a nature lover and self-proclaimed foodie wrapped in one package. In my previous life, I was an Accountant, but numbers were boring and writing is the only thing that fuels my soul. So, I write because it's my freedom...it brings me joy. When I'm not writing dope articles for OnlyInYourState, I am writing and editing articles for my online blog on Medium.com. Or, when I get the chance, I am off on a trip with my family chasing waterfalls, or simply exploring the great outdoors. My mantra is to always find the best part of every day and bask in it.
Arkansans love catfish and barbecue, but y’all love smoked turkey too, right? It’s no wonder that Thanksgiving is your second favorite holiday. Luckily, there’s a quirky turkey restaurant in Arkansas selling the best smoked turkey around.
Burge’s began as a dairyette in 1962, serving burgers, barbecue, ice cream, and more. Since then, the family-owned eatery has earned a spot as an Arkansas Hall of Fame restaurant.
Today, this no-frill restaurant has two locations serving the best smoked turkey in town. The original spot is in Lewisville and the second is in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Both locations have a full menu of the flavorful meats, but the meats are smoked from the Lewisville operation. And Burge’s mission is to provide the "very finest in smoked meats" around.
