Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
One of the oldest methods of modern transportation is the train. It’s a tried-and-true adventure, having been around for hundreds of years at this point, though it was eventually made (nearly) obsolete by the popularity of personal vehicles. Of course, there are still some folks out there keeping the rail traditions alive, and Indiana is home to one particularly delightful one: the Whitewater Valley Railroad is a scenic train ride in Indiana worthy of a summertime day trip. We think you’ll adore the scenery, shopping, and overall unique experience this excursion has to offer, and we think you ought to check it out for a relaxing summer afternoon here soon:
The scenic Connersville/Metamora line runs on Saturdays and Sundays from May through October. Be sure to visit the official railroad website for the most up-to-date pricing, schedules, and more. Don’t forget to check out the other adventures offered by Whitewater Valley Railroad, too!
