Pine Lake Park Is A Lakeside Waterpark In Indiana That's The Perfect Place To Spend A Summer's Day
Tucked away in lesser-known and tragically underrated Berne (which is easily one of the most unique small towns in Indiana), is one of the Hoosier State’s best (and oldest) water parks. Originally started as a farmer’s sand quarry in 1908, the property eventually became a swim lake around 1918. In 1922, the first iteration of the park was born when the then-owner rented out the land to two entrepreneurs. It was called the Berne Swimming Club, and amenities were soon added, piece by piece, over the years. Finally, in the 1930s, the owner of the lake sold it to one of the entrepreneurs and his sons. It was on track to become one of the best things to do in Indiana during the summer. Pine Lake Water Park in Indiana is a must-do for pretty much everyone – so pack up the sunblock and let’s go.
