We’d all love to take the family away on an exotic island vacation every summer, but that’s not always possible. Money’s tight, and it can be tough to get time off of work. Luckily, we’ve got a man-made beach that makes for an extremely affordable family day trip, even if you’ve got multiple kids to bring along. Palm Beach Island in Georgia is around 100 miles away from the coast, but it’s got sand, a natural swimming hole, and even fun slides. And, best of all, this delightful water park’s admission fee is only $5 per person!
The facility is occasionally closed for private events, so make sure to visit the swimming hole’s Facebook before planning a trip to make sure that the park is open. Don’t forget sunscreen and bug spray!
