Washington’s state parks are one of a kind. Each year, they’re visited by a whopping 40 million people who come to enjoy hiking, camping, beach combing, and other outdoor activities.
The Evergreen State has 124 state parks, so the odds are good that you live close to a few. However, some of our quiet coastal parks tend to be a bit overlooked, even if they are in our tourist destinations. In spite of it not being a very “hidden” gem, Twin Harbors State Park is an underrated treasure.
