She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). We have a lot of state parks in Georgia (63, to be exact). Each has its own attractions and history making it worthy of that lofty designation. But some of these Peach State parks are just a little more special and scenic than others. One of our favorites is Red Top Mountain State Park. This 1,776-acre oasis is tucked away in the northwest corner of the state, which can sometimes be overlooked by visitors. You’d be making a mistake to not check out this incredibly beautiful place, though. The park features the lovely Lake Allatoona, miles of trails, and areas for camping.
