You'll have to try all of your neighborhood bagel shops to find your favorite, but they're all going to be better than what you find outside of the NY-NJ-PHL area, anyway.
2. Everything is so close!

When you're used to living in other parts of the country, you'll be so impressed by how close everything is within New Jersey. You can live your whole life without driving more than 20 minutes, and in the event that you do want to travel more, you've got easy access to cities, beaches, mountains, and forests all within an hour or two.

4. There are so many tolls... and they aren't cheap.

It's convenient to travel on New Jersey's toll roads - but it comes at a cost. Tolls on the AC Expressway, Turnpike, and Parkway are always on the rise, and every bridge you take to leave the state is going to cost you at least a few dollars.
5. We're oddly loyal to convenience stores.

6. We fold our pizza.

7. "The City" means two different things.

Most people would think that "The City" means New York, but in New Jersey, it's more complicated than that. You never really know for sure if people are talking about Philadelphia or New York -- you've got to use context clues to figure it out before jumping in to join the conversation.
