We know what you’re thinking. Waterfalls? In Louisiana? You may be surprised to learn that there are a few waterfalls in Louisiana, especially in the northern part of the state. Now, don’t venture out expecting to see 100-foot cascades, we aren’t that lucky, but this particular hike leads to a lovely waterfall where you can splash around.
Once you see St. Mary’s Falls, you’ll want to check out the other waterfalls in the area. The Rock Falls trail is about the same length, and will bring you straight to Rock Falls, the tallest waterfall in Louisiana! If you’ve ever visited St. Mary’s Falls, let us know in the comments below!
