There are many hiking trails within North Dakota’s famed Theodore Roosevelt National Park – at least 30! So, how do you know which ones to do and which ones to skip? If you ask us, we don’t think you should skip any of them, but there are a few that we think you should do before the rest. What about something short and sweet to start with? The Boicourt Overlook Trail in North Dakota is a gem in and of itself; it’s so scenic and the views are so stunning that it feels like our very own Grand Canyon right here in our backyards. To access the Boicourt Overlook Trail in Indiana, you’ll want to enter the south unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Embark upon the South Unit Scenic Drive, and about halfway through, you’ll see pull-offs for Boicourt Overlook Trail.
