Rated easy by All Trails, the picturesque path is popular with hikers of all ages and skill levels. Hikers advise carving out around two hours to complete it, longer if you plan on taking your time.
The easy rating of the trail means it can get quite busy. However, you might get lucky and set off during a quiet time and find you have the trail all to yourself.
If you're hiking in the warmer months, be sure to lather on the bug spray. Bring it with you, too, because it can get really buggy on the trail, especially during the morning.
The trail is hikeable all year around. However, be prepared for icy conditions during the winter. If you're hiking after a rainfall, you might want to wear a waterproof shoes. It can get really wet and muddy.
