Delaware’s crab shack scene is one of the best parts of living in the First State. Our no-frills hole-in-the-wall restaurants serve up the best crabs you’ll ever get to try. For some of our favorite blue claws, head to The Surfing Crab in Lewes.
The Surfing Crab doesn’t accept reservations, but you should call ahead to confirm their hours and crab availability. Since they bring them in fresh, they’re at the mercy of the bay or ocean. When they do have fresh crabs in, though, they’re the best in the state!
