Located next to a gas station in the small town of Fairview, this tiny eatery is family-owned and operated with a focus on southern dining classics. Country Café is located in Fairview, Tennessee, roughly thirty minutes from the midst of Nashville’s downtown district. The homey family restaurant doesn’t boast the modern edge of contemporary glitz and glamor you’ll find in the city, but it does happen to have some of the kindest hospitality you’ll find this side of the state.
Inside you will find a homey, nostalgic atmosphere that welcomes small parties and larger gatherings. Visitors rave about the low prices on the menu, and the friendly folks on staff make everyone feel like they belong.
There is no pretension here, just good food. Simple southern comfort is on the menu and in the air, and there is hardly any wait time. We would recommend you bring cash to pay as opposed to credit cards if you’re looking for an insider tip.
Expect lunch specials and classic breakfast platters, all for under $10. The home fries are truly decadent, and if you’re feeling potatoes the hash browns are some of the best in the greater Nashville area.
