Many laws are totally legitimate, but there are some weird laws in Wisconsin that make us raise our eyebrows. Our great state really knows how to pack a legal punch! 1. You can't serve margarine at a restaurant unless the customer specifically requests it.

2. It is illegal to not give a farm animal the right of way on a public road.

3. It is illegal to not base business hours on central time.

4. Adultery is illegal.

We're thinking this one would cost too much to enforce. Still, you may want to keep it on the DL if you're looking at stepping out...though we don't recommend it.
5. It is illegal to produce cheese that is not "highly pleasing."

I can attest that I have never consumed Wisconsin cheese that wasn't highly pleasing. Maybe because of this law?
