Sedona is a legendary town, and if you’ve never spent time here, you might wonder what all the fuss is about. We’re here to tell you that its reputation is well-deserved, and folks like us really enjoy living in Sedona, Arizona. It carries a certain charm that provides for the perfect weekend getaway, as well as plenty for the locals to do, any time of the year. From small local shops to long twisting trails, this is one of the best spring break destinations in the U.S., one of the best small towns in the U.S., and overall one of the best towns to enjoy anywhere in the country. Read on and learn more about why we love it so much:
One of the most common things you will hear about Sedona is its energy. For a long time, this area has been considered a place of healing and sacred power. Many people travel here from all over the world to experience the vortexes, specific areas of heightened energy emitting to and from the earth.
Some of the more common vortexes include Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock. The Kachina Woman rock formation at the entrance to the
Boynton Canyon Trail can be especially powerful since the canyon is said to carry more than one type of energy.
The beauty you see everywhere is truly jaw-dropping.

Speaking of
Airport Mesa , it is another one of the best places to experience a vortex. Signage at the top of the mesa provide some context and history for visitors.
