Coralville Lake is a man-made lake based in Johnson County, Iowa. Aside from being created as a result of the Coralville Dam that was built in the 1950s to prevent flooding, this stunning lake is the ideal site to take in scenic sunrises and sunsets when you’re in Iowa.
Nowadays, Coralville Lake and its shoreline are popular destinations to go hiking, biking, camping, and boating. And as you’ll soon learn, the sunrises and sunsets from this vantage point are breathtaking too.
