Buckle in, Minnesota! The party of the season is about to begin over in Fridley, a first ring suburb of the Twin Cities and you won’t want to miss the fun. The 2nd Annual Bonspiel Block Party kicks off at Forgotten Star Brewing on Friday, February 18 and runs through Sunday night, February 20, 2022.
At the center of it all is a curling tournament featuring 128 teams that will compete to take home bragging rights for the competition.
The block party takes place right at Forgotten Star Brewing's historic old WWII production facility, now converted to a big, roomy and lively brew house.

Presently, the preparations are taking place getting the ice just right for the big curling tournament at the Bonspiel Block Party.

Come and compete, or just watch the stones fly and cheer on your favorite team(s) as you enjoy the excitement of the games and everything else at the block party.
Of course there's beer — and lots of it. Forgotten Star always has delicious craft brews available. They change with the season and you can see a list of the current brews, here. Drink up, and enjoy! Additionally, expect a bevy of food trucks each day, with more choices than you can possibly sample.
And the event also includes a small business market, live music, a disc jockey, and a winter 5k.
It's a whole lot of fun wrapped up into one big, exciting weekend!

This three-day event gets underway Friday (February 18) at noon and wraps up with the championship curling round at 8 p.m. on Sunday evening (February 20).

Want to register for the tournament? You'll have a chance at one of the six prizes that go out to teams. Aside from the prizes awared to the top four winning teams, prizes will be awarded to the team with the most Team Spirit and to the Best Dressed Team.

The Bonspiel Block Party is a family-friendly event that takes place Friday, February 18, 2022 through Sunday, February 20, 2022. Admission is free, but there is a fee for your team to enter the tournament.
