The winter season brings with it a whole slew of fun festivities. And one wintry event you don’t want to miss is GloWILD! at the Little Rock Zoo. The new larger-than-life light experience features dozens of hand-crafted, glowing lanterns, making it one of the largest lighted experiences in the nation.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the zoo announces the start of GloWILD!, a “larger-than-life light experience.”

Going on now through January 15th, GloWILD! is a lantern festival, featuring handcrafted silk-covered lanterns that are set aglow with more than 50,000 LEDs.

Though new, GloWILD! is already making a name for itself. Not only is it touted as one of the biggest lighted experiences in the U.S., but it’s the first event of its kind in central Arkansas.

Can’t wait to attend this larger-than-life light show? We thought so! There are a few things to keep in mind. For instance, tickets are $17 for members and $20 for the general public (kids under 3 are free). Also, parking is free during GloWILD! Lastly, it’s a rain or shine event.
