Providence Canyon State Park, also referred to as Georgia’s Little Grand Canyon, is a unique and quite incredible area in Georgia. Being inside the canyon, there is ample shade for most of the hike. Although the parts of the trail taking you in and out of the canyon are steeper, once inside the canyon, the trail is relatively flat, making it perfect for a leisurely walk.
