Built in 1907, this hotel is believed to be haunted by a few prostitutes from its early days. The most famous prostitute, "Lady in Red," is known to touch men's hair or rub up against them. Her ghost can sometimes be seen speaking to the ghost of a miner.

Supposedly, this hotel is haunted by a woman named Rosie - a prostitute who committed suicide in Room 11.

This historic hotel is said to have many ghosts. Visitors have reported several ghostly activities here such as the feeling of a hand on their shoulder or hands coming through the floor and grabbing one of their ankles. The ghost of night clerk Tommy Thompson has also been seen haunting the hotel's lobby.

The ghosts that have been reported here include: a teenage girl who was killed in the basement, a blonde prostitute who was killed on the third floor, and the prostitute's killer who committed suicide on the second floor. 11. Yellow Jacket Mine - Silver City

What led to the haunts at this mine was a fire that took place in 1869. This fire killed more than 35 miners, and not all of their bodies were recovered. Supposedly, the spirits of 11 miners stayed behind to haunt the mine.

The creepiest haunted hike in Nevada has to be the hike from the Gold Hill Hotel to the abandoned Yellow Jacket Mine. The Mine was the site of the worst disaster in Nevada's industrial history when 39 miners perished in a fire and tunnel collapse. Local fire brigades responded quickly to the fire, but water pressure issues meant the fire ranged on until it collapsed. It continued to burn for three weeks. You can hike around the area, and many people have seen orbs or experienced other paranormal activity here.
