1. EB Strong’s - 10 Church St., Burlington
With nicer weather on the way, plan a trip to the Church Street Marketplace in Downtown Burlington and get ready for an amazing meal. This 20-oz Prime Rib Porterhouse looks divine!
2. Fire & Ice Restaurant - 26 Seymour St., Middlebury
Your taste buds will explode over the Drunken Pork Chops (pictured). Twin 6-oz pork chops marinated in Makers Mark whiskey and maple syrup, grilled and finished with maple gastrique. Yum!
3. Ye Olde Tavern - 5183 Main St., Rte 7A, Manchester
This is a place that knows how to serve an amazing... everything, from the flaming duck to the lobster mac and cheese, it's all out of this world. They have some of the best steaks and are cooked to perfection in this 200 year old restaurant which will transport you back in time.
4. Bistro Henry - 1942 Depot St., Manchester Center
Perfectly cooked steak, fresh and tasty vegetables and out of this world creme brûlée... What's not to love? Slow smoke Sunday anyone?
5. Southside Steakhouse - 170 S Main St., Rutland
Whether your palet prefers the filet mignon, the dry aged rib eye steak, or something else entirely, you'll love this great place in Rutland. The au poivre is particularly outstanding and the sides are all delicious. The most difficult part of your experience will be choosing what to order. Trust us, it's all good.
6. Black Rock Steakhouse - 284 River St., Springfield
Argentinian Steak on the rack - wow. If you'd like to watch your steak be cooked to your individual preference, there is no better place to go than the Black Rock Steakhouse. Warm, inviting and perfectly prepared meals make this steakhouse one of the best in Vermont.
7. Back Behind Saloon Restaurant - Rte. 4, Bridgewater
If you're craving some meat, the Back Behind has some of the most mouth watering menus around. Fun for the whole family, this place has everything from out of the world steaks to ribs that fall off the bone.
8. J.Morgan’s Steakhouse - Capitol Plaza Hotel, 100 State St., Montpelier
Our list wouldn't be complete if we didn't include J. Morgan's Steakhouse - and for good reason! Simply, wow. They serve up some mean steaks here, not to mention rack of lamb and, of course, some of the best burgers in town.
9. Hen Of The Wood - 92 Stowe St., Waterbury
If you've ever been to Hen Of The Woods, there is a good chance that this is one of your favorite restaurants. Just look at their Steak Tartare with a farm fresh egg, and a side of house made chips!
10. Blue Cat Cafe - 1 Lawson Lane, Burlington
This little place packs every dish with punch! The heavenly filet mignon won't let you down, especially paired with their truffle fries. A great place to go for a romantic night or before one of Burlington's many live performances.
11. Cornerstone Pub & Kitchen - 47 N Main St., Barre
From the fries to the mac and cheese, the Cornerstone Pub and Kitchen is consistently unbelievable. And the Rib Eye Steak? Melt in your mouth delicious! Just look at this hearty burger and you'll know that this is a place worth going out of your way to explore.
12. Guild Tavern - 1633 Williston Rd., South Burlington
From the tartare to a steak for two carved table side, the Guild Tavern knows how to serve up a good steak. You'll love their locally sourced beef cut and grilled over Vermont hardwood.
