You’ll soon see that a visit to the Museum of York County in Rock Hill is like walking through a zoo where someone magically stopped time – but just for the creatures.
And for the duration of your time at the museum, you and your family will move among them, all 2,000 of them. Yes, there are 2,000 animal specimens here!

But this gigantic collection of a completely benumbed zoo of creatures stretches beyond the continent to include specimens from around the world.
The enormous elephant is a fan favorite. It stands approximately 10 feet tall. While some of the animals in the museum are behind ropes or even encased in glass enclosures, not all of them are!
