Tucked away in a secluded part of the campus of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Millennium Folk Arch and Art Enclave got its start as part of a university class in 1999.
The class, "Raw Vision: Creativity and Ecstasy in the Work of Shamans, Mystics, and Artist Outsiders” focused on ways students could personally express themselves through art.
Professor Norman Girardot led the class that would partner with local middle school students and work under the mentorship of Gregory Warmack, better known as Mr. Imagination.
Parking on campus is difficult, so keep an eye out for nearby metered parking spots if you plan to visit. To get to the hidden park, make your way to the intersection of Upper Sayre Park Road and Look Out Drive. Follow the path that will take you straight to Millennium Folk Arch and Art Enclave.
