2. Goddard Memorial State Park

This park in Warwick is well known among the locals and definitely gets its fair share of traffic, but if you aren't from Rhode Island, you may never have heard about it! There are over 80 types of trees in this one area, as well as golf courses, game fields, and even an area for showing horses.

Hidden in the criminally underrated town of Bristol Rhode island lies Blithewold mansion. This home turned museum offers all the grandeur of the Newport mansions with a fraction of the crowds. The gardens as well are breathtaking in every season. On some nights in the summer there is even live music to be enjoyed on the grounds!
5. Roundtop Fishing Area

Not many people know about the Roundtop Brook area in Burrillville, but it is 100% worth your time. The brook is regularly stocked with trout for the fishing aficionado, and it is a great spot for kayaking and canoeing as well. This waterfall alone makes it well worth your time in our opinion.
6. George B. Parker Woodlands
Audubon George Parker Woodland Wildlife Refuge, 1670 Maple Valley Rd, Coventry, RI 02827, USA
Situated across Coventry and Foster, this wildlife refuge offers seven miles of moderate to challenging trails, perfect for the seasoned hiker. Make sure to keep your eyes peels for some of the animals that make this land their home, among which are owls, deer and fox.
7. Ell Pond Preserve

This area offers a challenging hike, which is why it's not often talked about, but it is more than worth it for the stunning views along the way. There are large cliffs and wooded valleys to be seen as you walk, and in the spring and summer there are lots of lovely flowers to look at!
