Recently opened in Spring Branch Village, Shoot The Moon is no ordinary watering hole.
This sleek tasting tavern offers Houston's first self-serve full bar, so you can skip the lines and be your own bartender.
The ambiance is upscale, yet casually so, making guests feel like they're in a fancy cocktail lounge without the uptight dress codes or unspoken etiquette rules.
Upon entrance, you'll check in with a team member who will hand you an access card that serves as your ticket to pour from the over 80 on-tap selections of beer, wine, cocktails and liquor.

Don't worry - you don't need to be a professional mixologist to have a great time.
TV screens above the taps give detailed descriptions of what exactly is in each drink, so you'll be armed with all the necessary information to pour yourself something delicious.
An eclectic list of European and American wines as well as top-shelf spirits come straight from the bottle, retaining every possible ounce of freshness before making it into your glass. Various glass sizers are available, so you can curate your own tasting experience or enjoy a full serving of your favorite beverage.
You'll also see premade cocktails on tap, so all you have to do is lift up the spigot.
Of course, if you so desire, feel free to show off your skills and mix up your own drink. The cocktail-grade ice machine will have you feeling extra fancy!
The drinks are definitely the main attraction at Shoot The Moon, but their chef-driven food menu is undoubtedly worth mentioning, as well.
