Every fall, southwest Iowa hosts one of the biggest festivals in the state, and certainly the biggest handmade craft festival in Iowa. This year is no exception. For the 62nd time, artisan vendors — more than 400 craft vendors, in fact — will gather in Clarinda, Iowa, to peddle their wares and celebrate their craft. The Clarinda Craft Festival is a giant party — an actual craft carnival — that you won’t want to miss!

The 62nd Clarinda Craft Carnival is just around the corner; it's set for Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at the Page County Fairgrounds, in Wibholm Hall and Cow Palace at 200 South 6th Street in Clarinda, Iowa.

There will be additional booths set up at the Clarinda Academy Gymnasium, the Clarinda High School Gymnasium, and the Clarinda Lied Center Gymnasium. A free shuttle between buildings will be offered, and free parking is available at each location.

Admission is only $5 per person and includes entrance to all five buildings, and children 10 and under are free. The carnival will be active most of the day, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
