If you walk down the streets of France, you’ll be greeted with the delicious aroma of freshly baked bread with every step you take. Jetting off to Paris isn’t always practical, so we’re incredibly lucky to have the next best thing right here in Arizona: Pangaea Bakery. This longstanding icon has recently moved to a new, larger location, but its famous artisan breads haven’t changed a bit. Pick up a whole loaf to use for sandwiches or to dip in soup at home, and don’t leave without a few of their decadent pastries.
Located in Village at the Boulders in Prescott, Pangaea Bakery has been a local institution for over 20 years.
The bakery specializes in artisan bread, homemade pastries, and other desserts, all made with organic, high-quality ingredients that make you feel good inside and out.
Upon stepping inside, your gaze will immediately be drawn to the glass case full of goodies.
From sticky buns to croissants to pies overflowing with gooey filling, the selection is so vast, you'll want to look it over for a while before taking your pick.

With the exception of baguettes, which are offered daily, Pangaea is always rotating its specialty breads.
Take this beautiful Stollen bread, for example. A German Christmas tradition, the bread is filled with nuts, spices, and dried or candied fruit, and topped with powdered sugar. It's the perfect holiday treat!
Although bread is the star of the show, it certainly doesn't tell the full story.
Breakfast is served until noon, and made-to-order sandwiches and other lunch specials are served until 2:30 p.m. From pizza to soup to quiche and everything in between, the meals are hearty, nourishing, and as pretty to look at as they are delightful to eat.
Pangaea is also a market, with organic produce, fresh cheeses and pastas, and other specialty foods.
Hours:
Monday - Saturday: 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday: 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
