Where were you the morning of September 11th? If you lived 20 years ago, it is nearly impossible to forget what you were doing when America was attacked, killing nearly 3,000 innocent Americans. While the 20th anniversary has passed, Colorado’s Fritzler Farm Park has found a unique way to pay homage to the fallen, survivors, first responders, and military all season long:
Located in LaSalle, Fritzler Farm Park is a beloved Colorado tradition that comes to life every fall via activities for kids and adults alike.
Each year, Coloradans flock to Fritzler Farm for its fun and innovative corn maze, with this year's maze dedicated to that fateful day in September and to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
As per Fritzler Farm, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation was founded in honor of off-duty NYFD firefighter Stephen Siller, who gave his life rescuing others. Today, the foundation provides financial support to first responders, veterans, and their families, as well as gifting homes and paying off mortgages.
While you're walking through the maze, be sure to take some time to reflect on that fateful day and those who gave their lives to help others.
In addition to the corn maze, Fritzler offers several other iconic activities like go-carts and a barrel train, a pillow jump and inflatable obstacle course, pumpkin patch, slide, and much more.
At night, the corn maze transforms into Scream Acres, a heart-pounding experience that has been dubbed "Colorado's most terrifying haunted attraction."
Scream Acres takes place Fridays and Saturdays from dark until 10 p.m.
Admission to Fritzler Farm Park is $27.95 per person online and $32.95 per person at the gate.
