Travel Back To The 1800s At Washington's Pioneer Farm Museum
The Evergreen State has some pretty unique museums, including a new mermaid museum. But if you want to feel like you’ve traveled back to the 1880s for a day, just head to the Washington’s Pioneer Farm Museum and Ohop Indian Village. Located in Eatonville, these exhibits are dedicated to showing us what life was like in the Pacific Northwest way back then. Luckily, you can keep your smart phone and modern technologies with you on this trip to the past!

With the help of some friendly tour guides, you'll be able to see what the homesteading life was like.

The Pioneer Farm Museum is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing living history, environmental, and cultural education opportunities to the public.

Currently, you can schedule both on the website. While some changes have been made due to current conditions, both tours are still available.

Needless to say, kids of all ages tend to have a great time here.

You can even take the Nature Trail Guided Tour, a 90-minute hike through a forested path in the Ohop Valley.

Check out Founder's Day next October, a fun day of free music, coffee, cider, desserts, and games.

After all, what's a farm without some adorable farm animals?
