Every year there’s an event on the lawn of Centennial Park that celebrates the intuitive talent of locals, the creativity of professional crafters, and the niche interests of visitors from around the state. The Tennessee Craft Fair has long been a local favorite, and the festival is one of the most beloved in Music City. This year the event is planned to be just as big and celebratory as ever, and we have all the details for you. Family-friendly and fun for all, this is one experience you don’t want to miss!
The Tennessee Craft Fair is hosted by Tennessee Craft, a nonprofit organization that works hard in the local community to support the successful growth of local artists.
It's hosted on an annual basis right on the front lawn of the ever-beautiful Centennial Park, a natural Nashville treasure. The large expanse makes it easier for more folks to visit and enjoy the fair.
What makes the Tennessee Craft Fair different is that it requires all artists to be on-site during the event. That, of course, means that you'll be able to chat with the artists themselves while shopping their handmade wares.
It's pretty incredible to see the number of talented artists that show up and set up shop twice a year on the front lawn. There is an annual spring craft fair as well as an annual fall craft fair.
Some 40,000 visitors make their way to the fall fair every year, and the number of artists tends to grow year after year as well. There's nothing better than a group of thoughtful, caring Tennesseans with a creative streak, and twice a year you can experience it at the Tennessee Craft Fair.
Admission is free for the whole family, and fun is a given. Make sure to check out the demonstrations and featured craft booths as well! They'll change depending upon the event.
