The 27.2 miles of out-and-back trail gives you plenty of opportunities to explore more and more as you get used to the length. Finding a favorite section is half the fun!
Once you reach the river, you're treated to amazing views. Between the wildlife spotting, nice paved trails, and biking opportunities, there's a lot to love here.
If you enjoy a little bit of waterfall, the low falls on the river will definitely relax you. Take the path at your own pace and start near the dam for the best views up front.
Dogs are welcome on this trail, provided they are leashed. It's also recommended that pets are guarded against ticks, as the bugs can be prevalent along the trail during certain seasons.
