I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
It’s safe to say that Bend, Oregon, is a city that loves the movies. Not only is Bend home to the world’s last remaining Blockbuster, but each fall, artists, actors, and film enthusiasts flock to this Oregon town to attend one of the best film festivals in the world. Oregon’s very own Sundance, BendFilm Festival is a celebration of independent cinema, and a must-attend for all Beaver State film fans.
Did you know about this epic film festival in Oregon? Have you attended before? The 2021 BendFilm Festival happens Oct. 7-17 at various locations in downtown Bend. Learn more at the event’s website and Facebook page.
